King’s College London Entrepreneurship Institute
King’s College London’s Entrepreneurship Institute supports entrepreneurial thinking, skills and experiences amongst King’s students, staff and alumni. Each year the Institute produces Start!, a magazine with a print circulation of 12,000 copies.
The primary audience for Start! is young undergraduate and postgraduate students at King’s College, from all faculties and across four campuses.
Secondary audiences include external stakeholders such as contributors, partners and potential investors for student ventures, along with King’s alumni and staff.
Within the constraints of King’s brand guidelines, we designed the magazine to be as age-appropriate as possible, with consideration of contemporary magazine design style. We were careful to use imagery and content reflecting the King’s community, which has a 50/50 gender balance, with diverse ethnicities, areas of study, different socio–economic backgrounds, and a mix of local and international students.
