What people say about us

We take pride in the quality of our work and go the extra mile to make sure all our clients are delighted with the results. We asked some of our recent customers how they found working with us – here’s what they said.

The prospect of changing the name and logo of our charity, after 25 years, was daunting, to say the least. The team at Calverts turned the whole process into a pleasure. Their professionalism, insight and generosity of spirit were key to making the name change an immensely creative and inspiring episode for us.

Right through from initial discussions, to the naming workshop and on to logo design and tweaking, the team was fantastically supportive and good humoured. They are co-operative in every sense of the word. We had a real sense that they were on our side, cared about our work, and wanted to contribute to it – as they did, and continue to do.

It is difficult to overestimate the value of their work for us. Calverts have left us with a brilliant new name and a beautiful logo that will inspire us and our supporters for years to come.

– Duncan Millar, Executive Director, Children Change Colombia

Calverts visuals and materials were of a high standard, fostering greater engagement with our educational activities with disadvantaged young people.

They worked with our vision and cared about the brief as much as we did. Calverts are a real pleasure to work with. Their work is consistently balanced and beautiful.

– Anne-Marie Canning MBE, Director of Social Mobility & Student Success, King’s College London

Every aspect of working with Calverts was a pleasure. Aside from their professionalism and expertise, I knew there were people at the end of the email / phone who genuinely cared about the quality of my printing job, and who could recommend great options given my particular means and needs.

The work that Calverts did for the Kennington Chartist Project on both the visual identity and the website was fantastic.

During the whole process from beginning to end the designers we worked with were calm, confident, professional and assured in their understanding of the brief and presentation of their ideas, while listening well and being flexible and supportive.

End costs were exactly as initially quoted and everything was completed to our total satisfaction. I can honestly say it was, by a long way, my best experience of working with designers, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Asylum Navigation Board Game Box

Calverts are always exceptional to work with.

When we were developing the Right to Remain navigation board, Cherry and the amazing team of designers helped transform what seemed like a pipedream into reality.

They understood exactly what we were asking for, and helped us turn our scrawls on paper into a professional resource that is being used to support people seeking asylum across the UK.

Friendly, reliable and insightful, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Dr Vicky Canning, Bristol University and Lisa Matthews, Right to Remain

I have printed three books of my photographic work with Calverts, and each time they have exceeded my expectations.

They provide an outstanding, friendly and professional service.

The wave greetings card was our first venture into riso print – and it was an added bonus to approach our fellow co-operators Calverts to have our cards printed.

It was a pleasure to work with Sam who was helpful every step of the way, from supplying costs to fit our budget and ensuring production was speedy to arranging delivery on time.

Above all, we were delighted with the cards. I would highly recommend Calverts for their fantastic service and great results.

We approached Calverts to design a website that would house an oral history audio archive on the subject of stillbirth; compromised of parent and clinician testimonies spanning 50 years.

Calverts were brilliant at working to the brief and helping us ‘realise’ and extend the aesthetics and functionality of the website. They made suggestions that enhanced our vision and helped to make the navigation of the site really intuitive and intelligible. They also took the time to reflect on the material, so the design was both sensitive to the needs of the bereaved families at the same time as appealing to clinicians, researchers, and academics.

Calverts have also been a real pleasure to work with in terms of our project. They are transparent in their costs and always happy to consider and suggest options. They deliver on time, keep you informed as to their progress and work to the highest creative and ethical standards.
