We approached Calverts to design a website that would house an oral history audio archive on the subject of stillbirth; compromised of parent and clinician testimonies spanning 50 years. We wanted to work with web designers who could work with this sensitive material and bring a creative and innovative approach to the look, feel and use of the site.
Calverts were brilliant at working to the brief and helping us ‘realise’ and extend the aesthetics and functionality of the website. They made suggestions that enhanced our vision and helped to make the navigation of the site really intuitive and intelligible. They also took the time to reflect on the material, so the design was both sensitive to the needs of the bereaved families at the same time as appealing to clinicians, researchers, and academics.
Calverts have also been a real pleasure to work with in terms of our project. They are transparent in their costs and always happy to consider and suggest options. They deliver on time, keep you informed as to their progress and work to the highest creative and ethical standards.
