The Futures Project is a collaborative project set up by Amisha Ghadiali, founder of Think Act Vote – a radical think tank that explores new and creative ways to shape our future lives and communities.
Think Act Vote set out to playfully ask people the question; What is the Future You Choose?
It started with a ballet box and asked hundreds of people to think about and vote for the future they choose. The most powerful of these futures have recently been visualised by over fifty amazing illustrators, followed up by an event called ?!X Refashioned that saw leading ethical fashion designers design a one off piece and customisations for anyone to do at home. And, with a travelling photobooth which travelled to events and festivals across the country and snapped hundreds of people in the ?!X t-shirts.
In 2011 the Futures Interviews series was launched, asking people to share their chosen futures and some of the ways we can think, act and vote to create them. These interviews, ideas and illustrations will make up the bulk of a book which will be published in Spring 2012.
The Futures Project is being crowd funded through Indiegogo
