The Busy Body
Calverts designed, illustrated, and printed this A5 size workbook for the King’s College London’s Widening Participation team.
The Busy Body workbook accompanies the department’s new medical outreach programme Hospital Heroes, an after school club which gives Key Stage 3 pupils the opportunity to explore different roles and specialisms in emergency medical care.
We adapted an existing resource with a bright, contemporary colour palette, a more compact design, and a set of fresh illustrations by Samuel Esquire.
The result is an appealing, accessible document which aims to engage young people in learning about how the body works without squeamishness.
The Busy Body is offset printed on 170gsm paper stock in CMYK throughout, with saddle stitch binding.
