Big Clean Up

London’s waterways play an important part in the human and physical geography of the city and have done so for hundreds of years. Therefore Calverts were really pleased to work with Thames21 who are the voice for these great waterways in producing a lovely selection of flyers, leaflets and postcards.

The flyers and leaflets were printed to help promote training events they organise for volunteers. The aim being to transform neglected and littered rivers and canals and make them better for people and wildlife. We also printed some postcards for a Deep Clean event which will be held over 4 days at various riverside locations beginning on the 9th March. The tides are at their lowest point this time of year so if you fancy getting down and dirty to help clear the banks of old father Thames then now is your chance.

Our remit was to find a 100% recycled stock that was great to print on but also economical in price so we used Cocoon Offset made from 100% post consumer waste as well as being FSC certified. It’s available in weights ranging from 100-350gsm so is suitable for a wide range of projects. Naturally we used our vegetable oil based inks and ensured all items were printed under our strict ISO 140001 environmental management guidelines.

If you have a print project coming up but are also concerned about environmental impact then do get in touch as we would like to help out.
