We've been printing Okido since 2007. It's a beautiful, quirky, fun and educational comic created by multimedia designer and scientist Sophie Dauvois and illustrator Rachel Ortas with each issue illustrated by contemporary artists and designers.
On Saturday 23rd July between 11am-6pm there's a free OKIDO Workshop at the Wellcome Collection where kids of all ages can make, find, draw and learn about what dirt is and why it's important.
Join the team from Okido magazine for a day of dirt-themed family activities including:
– try the safe-trash lucky dip
– use dust, dirt and sand to make patterns
– have a go with sand pens to create huge pictures on the floor.
-'Make your own model of an excavation' at 2PM
Younger visitors will receive a dirt activity pack to take away,
including the summer 2011 edition of 'Okido' magazine for kids.
This event is FREE. Drop in any time.
