Off the Wall explores the work of Vanessa Jackson and her approach to geometry and colour in relation to abstract painting.
Initially, to get a sense of colour reproduction, various images from the book were wet proofed on different paper stocks.
As a result it was decided that an uncoated laid paper would work best for the text sections, and a silk coated paper would give better lift to the main image sections, with the grey board cover adding an organic contemporary finish.
A final press press before printing confirmed the final papers worked as they should.
Off the Wall is published by Pavilionary and printed by Calverts.
