This dictionary doesn’t just contain a list of lost languages. Inside you’ll find stories, maps and drawings that highlight the ways in which war, imperialism and globalisation accelerate the process of language extinction.

Written and designed by artist Sarah Wood, copies of the dictionary will be inserted randomly into public libraries in the coming weeks.

Printed in a limited edition run of 50 by Calverts on our new KM 1100 digital press.
