It was one of those nail-biting, down to the wire design and print projects – a visitor programme, exhibition guide and three daily 'At A Glance' booklets. The occasion was the hugely successful, once-in-a-lifetime gathering of the global co-op clans in Manchester – Co-operatives United. 'Part trade show, part conference, part jamboree', Co-ops United hosted 203 business events and 171 exhibitors from 88 countries. 11,800 unique visitors came through the doors over four days (here's the infographic we put together about the week).

As always with such complex event collateral, planning layout and content was being revised right up the last minute – so it was a real exercise in agile information design and print, with delivery timed to the hour.

So far we've had good feedback from delegates, 'secret shoppers', and most importantly our clients – Co-operatives UK, the International Co-operative Alliance and The Co-operative. The project's success was testimony to good collaborative working, as well as an opportunity to show what we can do when the pressure's on!
