2012 was a special year for Calverts in several ways. It was the UN's International Year of Co-operatives, which gave us opportunities to link with co-operators in the UK and around the world. We won our first pitch to work with The Co-operative Group, on this special members' publication celebrating the Group's achievements during the year, under the four themes of 'making a difference in local communities', 'co-operatives share', 'ownership by everyday people' and 'difference and diversity'. Finally, we designed and printed a new edition of Co-operatives UK's well-received Worker Co-operative Code, which we've written about here.
Designed and printed in house by Calverts, and written by The Co-operative Group's member communications team, the Special Year brochure was also printed on co-operative paper – Paperback Co-op's exclusive Sylvan Silk 100% recycled, which printed like a dream.
