Calverts is based in Tower Hamlets, one of the Olympic boroughs, so we were pleased to record a home win on an 8-way pitch to design and print the Welcome Pack for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Business Park on behalf of The Olympic Park Legacy Company.
The brief was to create a format that would allow the pack to be updated and as saddle-stitching, perfectbinding and wiro-binding are all fixed bindings interscrew-binding was used to allow maximum flexibility on future updates.
To accomodate loose inserts the back cover was french-folded into the rivets then thumb-cut. A fold-out map, glued into the back cover, adds another interesting dimension to this eye-catching piece of print.
