Short for tagged image file. A file format used for storing and transmitting still-image bitmaps stored in tagged fields. Not widely adaptable, as it requires nonstandard and often redundant extensions
Tint
Shading effect in printing colours, normally expressed as a percentage of the 'solid' value.
Trims
Lines outside the page area used to indicate the limit of the printed page.
