Laminating
The application of transparent film, usually with a high gloss or matt finish, to the surface of printed matter to enhance its appearance and increase its durability. Traditionally, laminating a sheet would make it unrecyclable, but now Calverts can offer cellulose (wood based) laminates which biodegrade.
